The Refuge

Refuge- 1 : shelter or protection from danger or distress 2 : a place that provides shelter or protection
The Refuge is a place for young men and women to come and have an encounter with a relentless God. It is here where young people will study the greatest love story ever told: God’s Word.
The Refuge is not only a place of discipleship though, it is also a place of worship where our very own student led worship takes place. It is here where true fellowship occurs between students of all backgrounds and walks of life. Coffee is always brewing and the conversations range from the mundane to the holy.
The Refuge is also the launching pad for student led evangelism and ministry at Ridglea Heights. Our Secret Service is focused upon sharing the love of Christ by meeting the needs of those in the surrounding areas where God has placed us to serve others. It is also here where students may find themselves with the opportunity to walk through the French Quarter and hand out water or at a local grocery handing out bibles.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.” Psalm 46:1-3
